Mystery quilt

A two color quilt.

Use a high contrast. Example: White and Bright Blue,Green and Light Yellow.

It is best to use solids, Batiks,or very small prints or small patterns. Scrappy is great, just remember to use a background that is a very high contrast.

Because this quilt has many pieces I will give you only one size, finished with borders 70" X 84".

The enitial instructions will be for the quilt blocks. You can choose the borders you wish to finish.

(My Quilt is the measured 70" X 84".)

 

Main Fabric; 2 1/4yards

Background Fabric; 2 1/4yards

Border (use more of the main fabric or another); 2 yards

Binding ; 3/4 yard

Batting; twin size will give you the cutting instructions next week.

Sew finished blocks together as shown in the photos.

Finish with borders of your choice. I chose checker board, I think it is very pleasing.
